Night at the Races

Festive attire and fascinators recommended as you join us for a night of socializing, horse racing, raffles, music and FUN while enjoying food, wine, beer, and more during our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year!
This year we are aiming to raise funds for our Student's Technology Resources, a Projector Screen for the Gym, and the remaining cost of new Playground Slides!
Night at the Races is the next best thing to being at a live horse racing event! 11 live virtual horse races, with 10 horses in each race, will be broadcasted on a large screen every 20 minutes while a race caller announces each race! You do not have to be a member of a CCCS family to join us for our Night at the Races fundraising event... the more the merrier!
Please click our order form below to purchase admission, scratch offs, raffle basket tickets, and up to 3 horses before Friday, April 25th.
Betting tickets, 50/50 tickets, and raffle basket tickets will be available to purchase during the event by Venmo or Cash.
Our live virtual auction will begin at 6:30 PM on Friday, May 16th and will close at 6:30 PM on Sunday, May 18th. Details below!

BET ON A HORSE
Betting tickets will be available to purchase during the event.
5 Bets = $15
11 Bets = $30
HOW TO BET
You will receive an event program when you arrive which contains the name and owner's name of each horse that was purchased. Look through the program and decide which horses you like.
Purchase betting tickets utilizing cash or venmo at the betting window. Make sure to write your order number (provided on your envelope) on each of your betting tickets.
To officially place your bet, go to the betting window and place your betting ticket(s) in one or more horse's baskets of your choice. The betting window will close a few minutes before each race begins.
After all the bets are collected for an individual race and the winning horse is announced, payouts are calculated based on the total amount bet on that race and the number of bets on the winning horse. For example, if Race #1 raises $150, $75 will go to Home & School and $75 will be divided equally among the people who picked the winning horse. If that turns out to be 5 people, you would receive $15 from a $3 bet.

ONLY 100 HORSES AVAILABLE
Limit of 3 horses per family
Virtual horses will be available to purchase to those attending the event until April 1st.
Any remaining horses will be open to purchase for those not attending beginning April 2nd.
Owners need not be present to win!
Horses in the first 10 races must be sold prior to the event.
Names of all horses and their owners will be printed in the event program and announced at race time so you will know your competition!
WINNING HORSES
Your horse wins their virtual race, you win a $100 cash prize in races #1-10.
HIGH STAKES RACE #11
Final 10 horses will be sold the evening of the event to the first 10 buyers for $100 per horse. The winner of Race #11 will go home with a $500 cash prize!
SECOND CHANCE RAFFLE
All non-winning horses will be placed into a 2nd chance raffle race!

Can't attend Night at the Races, but still want to participate?
There are still plenty of ways to get in on the fun! Purchase a horse (open to those not attending beginning April 2nd), purchase raffle tickets (preview night will be between 5-9 PM on Friday, May 16th to place your tickets), or participate in our live auction! You may purchase your horse(s) and raffle tickets through the same order form above!

ONLINE AUCTION
Bidding Begins

Step 1... Visit the auction site above to create an account.
Step 2... Once an account is created, users can submit their desired bid amount. If a cell phone number is included when registering, a text message will be sent with outbidding and winning notifications. Otherwise, you will be notified via email.
Step 3... Each auction item displays a picture with a brief description. Stating bids and minimum increments are indicated on the listing.
Step 4... Winners will be emailed an order form where they will be asked to submit payment via Venmo or Card. Payment for items must be made in full by Wednesday, May 21st.
Step 5... If payment is not received by Wednesday, May 21st, the next highest bidder will be contacted and determined the winner.
Step 6... The purchaser will be contacted so a date and time to pick up the item can be coordinated.
Step 7... Please review all certificates for expiration dates. Each donor set the expiration date and they vary.

Every bottle helps make the wall bigger and more exciting to bid on during our online auction. Wine donations can be dropped off to the Main Office during school hours the week of April 7th - April 11th or outside arrangements can be made with Madison Day 443-966-0731.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND DONATIONS INTO SCHOOL WITH STUDENTS! THEY MUST BE DROPPED OFF BY AN ADULT!
